Full-Time | U.S. Based (Remote-Friendly) | Elevate Marketing Research

Summary

The Marketing Strategy Consultant serves as the bridge between Elevate’s research insights and the marketing decisions our clients need to make. You will take what our research team uncovers – consumer’s key motivators, ad performance, media preferences, brand affinity and competitive positioning opportunities  – and translate findings  into actionable marketing strategies that clients can implement and measure. Specific duties include leading post-research consulting engagements, developing strategic action plans, auditing marketing funnels, and advising on everything from media mix to creative concepting across a variety of industries.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or similar
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing strategy, consulting, or a hybrid research/strategy role
  • Familiarity with marketing data, analytics, and consumer research
  • Experience translating insights into actionable marketing recommendations
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills
  • Collaborative, engaging team member dedicated to excellence and premium client service

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree in marketing, business, or communications
  • Experience collaborating in and supporting a high-growth work environment
  • Nimble and curious business mind with a knack for developing creative solutions that increase workflow and productivity
  • Fluency across all marketing channels; (Linear TV, Streaming TV, , social media strategy, SEO/SEM, Digital display (Google P-Max), creative development, and brand positioning
  • A passion for creative development and brand positioning strategy
  • Experience presenting strategic plans to C-suite and senior leadership
  • Strong on-stage presentor skills
  • A thought leader with a portfolio of blogs, articles, pod-cast appearances, etc. reflecting your unique point of view

About the Job

You will consult with brands across a variety of verticals we serve, including retail, legal, home services, home improvement, and financial services. Or perhaps there’s a vertical you’re a specialist in already you’d like to bring to the table.. No two weeks will look the same, and that’s the point.

You will take our research findings and make them matter. That means sitting down with a client after a brand tracking study and maybe helping them rethink their entire media or creative . It means building a 90-day action plan that doesn’t just sit in a drawer it actually gets executed because you’re there to ensure it happens. It means telling a client the truth about what’s working and what isn’t, even when it’s not what they want to hear.

Responsibilities

  • Lead post-research consulting engagements (typically 90-day action plans) with clients, translating consumer insights into strategies across paid media, social, SEO/SEM, and creative development
  • Own client relationships post-research through the consulting phase building a book of business and uncovering additional research project opportunities as needed
  • Audit and evaluate client marketing funnels from awareness through conversion and identify high-impact optimization opportunities
  • Advise clients on media mix allocation, digital conquesting strategies, social media content creation, and website optimization
  • Develop creative briefs and concepting direction for TV, radio, billboard, and digital campaigns grounded in research insights
  • Establish and track client KPIs, providing ongoing performance benchmarking to measure the impact of implemented strategies
  • Contribute to company thought pieces; white papers, blog posts, and webinars to help socialize recent trends and findings
  • Support the advancement of revenue through collaboration with our sales and business development team

Location

This role can be located anywhere in the U.S., but a Central or Pacific time zone is preferred. Remote employees may occasionally travel to our company headquarters in Los Angeles, CA for meetings or team-building events. Travel once a month or quarter to client sites will be required.
